DONN REID & CRAIG BAKER
DOMUS
Craig is the deputy director of Domus and oversees development and communications for the organization, as well as the educational program inside the Hartford Juvenile Detention Center. He has worked at Domus for over 20 years. Craig received both his master’s in education and bachelor’s in history from Sacred Heart University. He has trained personnel from New Haven Public Schools and other communities in successful social/emotional/behavioral classroom approaches. Craig received the Isabelle Farrington College of Education Alumni Leadership Award from Sacred Heart University in 2013.
Donn joined Domus in 1991. As chief values officer, Donn ensures fidelity to our core principles and practices through new staff training. Donn is a sought-after facilitator for both internal and broader community gatherings. Since 2014, Donn has co-led Domus’ Race Action Committee for Equity (RACE), a transformative, organization-wide initiative that supports Domus and the communities we serve through improving racial literacy and educational equity. He co-leads the Equity Institute at Domus. Donn was the long-time director of the Domus Training Institute and Domus’ life-skills instruction program as well as director of Domus’ two group homes for boys. Donn received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Northern Colorado
